Tunneling Capabilities

RHSC Tunnel Boring Machines range in outside diameter (OD) from 1500 millimeters to 4200 millimeters. A Standard RHSC micro tunnel boring machine (mTBM) has the ability to execute tunnels with lengths above 500 meters, depths that reach 50 meters, and groundwater pressure that reaches 3 bar.
Our mTBMs can also tunnel through rock formations with compressive strengths that reach 250 mega pascals (MPa).

Tunneling Equipment

Tunnels Lengths and Depth​

 

A Standard RHSC Tunneling Machine has the ability to execute tunnels above 500m long in 50m deep shafts.

Cutting Wheels​

RHSC owns Tunnel Boring Machines with mixed and rock cutting wheels that can tunnel through rock formations with 250Mpa. compressive strength.
