Road Header machine is a open face cutting head. This type of machine operates with an open system. Pushing force of the machine is 1200 ton. This machine will be used on sand, clay and soft rock.

The cutting head assembly consists of two sections, which articulate to allow movement of up to 3.5 degrees in any direction and enable precise steering.

The cutting Head of the Road Header is a hydraulically driven, longitudinal shaped excavation tool, fitted with picks, carbide tips and armored screw spirals equipped with hard face welded cams.

The TBM is fitted on a standard slide with ball revolving joint for slewing the excavating  head from right to left and top to bottom driven by two hydraulic motors, which are fitted within the cutting head.
